How to play Golf Snooker

This game is played to the rules of Billiards. The player or team that pots their balls, and finally the black ball, wins.

• Rack all the balls, except the white cue ball, on the black spot.
• The opening player strikes the cue ball from the selected position, aiming to contact any other ball. A ball must be pocketed or hit, or the next player must make the next attempt.
• The first time a ball is pocketed, that ball denotes the group – spotted or striped – for that individual or team. The other player or team must try to pocket the other group of balls.
• Play continues with each individual or team taking turns to attempt to pocket balls by striking the cue ball into a coloured ball. Each time a ball is pocketed, the player gets another turn at striking.
• When all of a player’s or team’s coloured balls are pocketed, the player must pocket the black ball to win.

A foul is committed if:

• The cue ball is pocketed
• The cue ball fails to hit another ball
• An opponent’s ball is hit before the player’s own
• The cue ball hits the black before the rest of the player’s balls are pocketed
• An opponent’s ball is pocketed
• Any balls are kicked outside of the table
• The cue ball is struck more than once.
• If the black is pocketed without the denoted colours pocketed first this can be seen as a foul. The black ball will then need to be replaced back to the table

Following a foul, the player loses their next visit to the table. Place a total of 4 balls in a diamond shape, including one black ball.

Each player must kick all their four balls into the pots as quickly as possible with the black ball being potted last. Have a stop-watch ready and hit start on the first kick.
